One tile is misplaced in this floor tiling

    1. My solution would be to draw a little face on the tile and give it a name. That way it’s a little conversation piece and not just an annoyance 🙂

Apparently in the past tile layers would always leave one imperfection because “only god can be perfect.” It’s so dumb and infuriating.

Allegedly inserting a single error in a tiled floor was common in Victorian era tiled floors in the UK.

I heard that sometimes that’s intentional, it’s like a signature, or so I’m told.

    5. DESTROY THAT FUCKING FLOOR

DO IT NOW OH MY GOD I CAN’T HANDLE IT

GET RID OF THE WHOLE HOUSE IF YOU HAVE TO

    6. There is a thing called a ‘Persian Flaw’ often seen in Persian rugs, but sometimes done in tiling. Where the artist or creator intentionally adds an imperfection to a pattern or symmetry, to acknowledge that only God can create perfection.

It might not be the case here and is mildly infuriating but a cool fact/thing to look out for.

    7. I read the word “misplaced” using the second definition ‘temporarily lost’ and was looking for the void where it should be.
